What is personally identifiable information?

Personally identifiable information refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate you, including, but not limited to, name, address, phone number, email address, financial profiles, and credit card information.
How does the site use personally identifiable information?
We use personally identifiable information to customize the site, to make appropriate service offerings, to supply you with the goods and services you have purchased from us, to obtain payment and to contact you to resolve your order. We may contact you about research or purchase and selling opportunities on the site or information related to the subject matter of the site. We may also use personally identifiable information to contact visitors and authorised customers in response to specific inquiries, promotions or to provide requested information. We and our service providers can use your personal information in an aggregated form in which you cannot be identified (for example, to analyse sales patterns).

Who may the information be shared with?

When you buy certain products on our site we may share your personal information to our distributor in order to fulfil your order and send you the products directly from their warehouse. Currently if you buy extra emergency food we will pass your personal information on to our distributor who will send this to you separately from their New Zealand location. We may from time to time dropship other products like this and will need to similarly provide your personal details to those distributors as well.
In addition to our direct collection of information, our third party service vendors (such as credit card companies, clearinghouses and banks) who may provide such services as credit, insurance, and escrow services may collect this information. We do not control how these third parties use such information, but we do ask them to disclose how they use personal information provided to them. Some of these third parties may be intermediaries that act solely as links in the distribution chain, and do not store, retain, or use the information given to them.

Except as identified above, we and our service providers will not otherwise use that information. Your information will not be provided to others for purposes other than as outlined in this privacy policy or required by law. If you have provided your information to us incorrectly we may not be able to deliver the goods and services, or provide you with a refund if we’ve decided to refund any money to you. We reserve the right to cancel your order if you supply us with incorrect or wrong information.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time by placing an amended version of the policy on the bunkerbox.co.nz website. You can check the website regularly for changes to this policy. Once the privacy policy is changed your ongoing use of this website indicates your acceptance of the changes.

How do we use login information?

Such vendors may have access to certain personally identifiable information on a need to know basis in the course of performing their services. Our privacy policy does not cover their exposure to this information.
